Happy 8th Birthday to Asher!

We celebrated Asher's 8th birthday last week. And boy, did he celebrate in style!

We went to see Anne, Scott, Hunter and Alexandra, where Asher could romp in their fenced in yard and get lots of love.

As you can see we had a lot of fun!

I really enjoyed doing something completely fun, frivolous and silly for a change.

Over the weekend I was able to go to the pet store using the wheelchair. Asher got to go along and help pick out his birthday toys. We all love going to the pet store!

First, Asher had some 'doggie ice cream' from the local pet store. Hunter and Alexandra had jolly ranchers (hence, Alexandra's blue tongue in the photo!)

Next he opened his box of presents. Oh how he loves opening boxes as you can see from the collage (and from the mess of tissue paper he left in the yard).

Then he played with his new sheep (16 squeakers in that baby!).

Played some more...this time with his new monkey (doesn't he look regal with it?).

Drank a lot of water. So tired was he that he had to lie down in front of the water bowl to drink.

Got belly rubs from Scott.

Plunked down and said, 'Whew, I'm pooped. But that sure was a great birthday!'

We should all have birthdays this good, huh?

Happy Birthday to Asher Dasher! You sure don't act 8!
