We Met Chelsea Clinton!

Make Herstory, Hilladelphia 2016 and Women's Rights are Human Rights are Women's Rights!

What an exciting day we had! 

Chelsea Clinton came to our town for a big fundraising event, which Mom and I did not attend since it cost big bucks. 

However, there was an opportunity to spend some time phone banking at the local office where Chelsea would stop in on her way to the fundraiser.

Thank you, Robin and Mack, for the Hilladelphia tee. Chelsea LOVED it! :) 

Mom and I signed up for the event right away! 

We think about 200-300 people were packed into the office making calls. It was hot, stuffy, crowded and loud!

Chelsea gave a short and on point speech, after which she met a few people before the secret service escorted her out.

We were one of the lucky few who were able to get our photos taken with her!

I loved being able to get a mother-daughter photo with Chelsea. I often think that Chelsea and her mom are probably close just like I am with my mom, and that Chelsea is just as proud of her mom as I am of mine. :)

We were pretty far back, but I love how the crew has decorated the office!

Thank goodness our sweet Eisha was there because it was standing room only and she managed to get me a chair. Phew! 

Hard at Work

This girl is working her little tooshie off for this campaign. We hardly ever see her! 

What a wonderful and exciting day!
