Monday Dog Blog: Always Make Time for Play

We're here with a little PSA. Mommy needs to hear this and so do you: always make time for play. No matter how busy you are.
It matters.

What have you done that's fun lately?

Our favorite activity is definitely wrestling!

Happy Monday!

Blessings,

Monday Dog Blog: Happy Birthday Tovah Rose Twinkle Toes!

Tovah Rose and Her Guardian Angel, Asher

How did this sweet little girl get to be FOUR years old?!

What a journey we have all been on since she arrived.

At the time, I was too sick to even travel with Mom to get Tovah Rose over July 4th weekend of 2012. Now, I'm taking this little girl for short walks on an almost daily basis.

Hurry Up With Those New Biscuits!

Tovah Rose turned four on May 5th.

New Biscuits!

Tovah Rose enjoyed a birthday almost all to herself. She LOVES being an 'only child' whenever possible. At the end of the day though, she and G did share in the unveiling of the new biscuits!

A Great Day!

First, Tovah went along with me to my counseling session, which is always good because she gets showered with a lot of attention and she can, if necessary, unload any of her Lowchen laments to Evelyn.

After counseling, Tovah Rose and I drove over to PetCo and had some fun girl time together shopping. We picked out all kinds of goodies--lots and lots of treats and one toy. We made sure to get the treats in the pink boxes and bags.

It was so much fun to drive to PetCo with Tovah Rose by myself, without needing the Rolls or Mom! We shopped for over 30 minutes and literally shopped until Mommy almost dropped. :)

Birthday Hugs from Kierny

In the evening Gershwin stayed with Mom, while Tovah Rose went with me to visit Kierny for dinner.

Basically, she had an entire day devoted just to her. As it should be, right?

Tovah Rose and Gershwin in 2012

The following day, May 6th, marked the anniversary of Asher's Gotcha Day. He lives in all of our hearts every day, but especially on these milestones. He would be amazed at how far his Mommy has come since the dark days when he arrived to be a light for my soul in 2002.

Happy Birthday to my Baby Girl! You're all grown up. You're full of piss and vinegar. You challenge me. You make me laugh. You keep great tabs on the happenings in the yard. You give your brother a run for his money. You are bright, alert, happy, joyful, and a true princess. You're the best little fur ball to have sleep on top of my head!

We love you.

We would also like to wish a very happy birthday to our fellow fur babies with the same birthday: Mac and Islay! :)

Happy Monday!

Blessings,

Emily
